Big I Nebraska is thrilled to offer the 5-course Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation program via live webinars! This specialized program is tailored to meet the unique needs of agribusiness, farm, and ranch clients, equipping you with the expertise to stand out in this niche market


This AFIS Farm Property class will be taught by Samuel T. Bennett, CIC, AFIS, CRIS, CPIA. In order to earn CE or designation credits, you will need to attend all 3 hours and reply to all polls throughout the day. 


State CE credit is approved in Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Kentucky.  (Several Other States pending)

AFIS 2: Farm Liability

A normal farming operation consists of such things as cultivation of soil, production of crops, raising of livestock, and other incidental operations like operating a roadside stand on the premises. One of the unique aspects of farm liability is that the farm premises can consist of a combination of residential and commercial exposures. This course looks at the various liability loss exposures present and answers the question, “In what situations can a farmer or rancher be held legally responsible for incidents that happen on the farm premises or from products raised on the farm and later sold?”
