SummaryThis is an ALL day class. You must attend the ENTIRE day and complete all class sign-ins to qualify for CE. This class will satisfy your CISR designation update requirement. You will receive printed materials upon arrival to class. Registrations received AFTER September 30th will NOT receive a printed learning guide but will receive a link via email to access the learning guide when you register for the class. This session is open to all conference registrants, not just CISR designation holders. Writing Small Commercial Accounts (4 hours) Agents will be able to explain the various ways to insure small businesses. Many times commercial coverages are overlooked because of the small size of the insured operations, but many accounts have the same significant exposures as large corporations. Agents will review the property, liability, automobile, workers compensation, umbrella/excess, and equipment breakdown coverages that small business owners need to consider. Personal and the Business Exposures (3 hours) Agents will analyze significant coverage issues associated with home-based businesses. They will be able to identify general and unique exposures to loss, types of in-home businesses, risk management considerations, and methods of insuring exposures. They will review the protection provided in the latest edition of commercial and personal lines policies including Homeowners, Personal Automobile, Personal Umbrella, and Businessowners programs. ![]() Lunch for CISR Session - RSVP neededWednesday Lunch 12:00pm to 1:00pm SummaryLunch is included for CISR session participants who RSVP.
